- 24 / 7 Chaplaincy ServicesJOB SUMMARYThe purpose of the position is to maintain and oversee the Illinois Rural King Distribution Centers and Store Support Center grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that a workspace is safe and functional. In addition, this position will also supervise all lawn care and snow removal for these locations. JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManage powered industrial fleet.Oversee building projects, renovations, and refurbishments.Ensure that the facilities are clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.Conduct and document regular facilities inspections for needed repairs.Maintain landscaping and snow removal.Coordinate and oversee all on-site work at the Illinois Rural King distribution centers and at the Store Support Center while ensuring quality standards are met.Work effectively and efficiently to keep projects within budget and quality guidelines.Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.Responsible for preventive and reactive equipment maintenance.The ability to work in a heavily conveyed, conveyor printers, data connections related to conveyors while ensuring down time is minimal Operate and repair material handling equipment, welding equipment, and high-tech sortation / automated laser scanners. Strong understanding of and ability to work on HVAC.Assist in the development and implementation of safety compliance and programs.Build desks and other office furniture.Maintain plumbing and carpentry as needed.Oversee electrical components, to include PLC.Ensure compliance with fire suppression systemsResponsible for light mowing and landscaping. Maintain and repair parking lot as needed.Paint, change light bulbs, power wash, and complete other general building maintenance as needed.Lead associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Rural King’s Thrive Leadership Program.Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. May be required to cross train and perform other duties.QUALIFICATIONSAt least 7 years of construction / maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.Ability to oversee multiple projects at a time.Able to adapt to changing work environmentsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
