Job Description
The Rural Law Center seeks a staff attorney to join our civil law practice to provide legal counsel and represent clients in a variety of essential life matters, including: Consumer Debts; Education; Employment; Family; Juvenile; Child Support; Custody; Guardianship; Health; Housing; and Income Maintenance. The Staff Attorney will also be expected to conduct outreach to our target audiences, and provide training and informational sessions to the community in accordance with grant requirements.
Required Qualifications: Attorney in good standing and active registration with the Unified Court System. Diverse economic, social, and/or cultural experiences. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and requirements. Ability to travel, as required by grant funding.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
