About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Rural Physicians Group in Franklinton, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients with a wide range of conditions, while also contributing to the development of our acute care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Liaise with specialists via telemedicine to ensure timely and effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with charge nurses to optimize patient flow and care coordination
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Valid LA medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospital medicine, preferably in an acute care setting
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
