What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Rural Psychiatry Associates?
Rural Psychiatry Associates is currently recruiting a Billing Coordinator to join our team in our Grand Forks Office.
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Compile necessary documentation in order to calculate and prepare patients' bills.
- Facilitate timely and accurate posting of hospital and clinic charges, self-pay, collections, month-end billing, and negotiate billing rates with third party payors.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all third party payors and treatment providers.
- Exhibit persistence, tactfulness, and fairness in communications with third party.
- Continuously research and follow up on processed claims to ensure timely payment;
- Answer billing questions from patients and/or patients' families;
- Perform related duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or Administration.
Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalency.
