*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation of commercial glass and glazing systems, storefronts, curtain walls, doors, skylights, HM glass, shower doors, and mirrors. This role requires a strong background in construction, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to work independently and with a team.
*Responsibilities*
-Assembling, Installing, repairing and replacing various types of glass and glazing systems, doors, windows and framing
-Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to accurately identify and install glass components
-basic understanding of how to use hand tools and power tools including hammers, drills and saws.
-Apply caulk and sealants to ensure a watertight seal around glass
-Ability to work off ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts and scaffolding
-Strong communication skills
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot glass-related issues
-Ability to lift 75 lbs
-Must be insurable with valid driver's license
*Experience*
- Prior experience in glazing and construction
-Ability to read blueprints and tape measures accurately
- Proficiency in blueprint reading
- Knowledge of glass installation techniques
- Ability to fabricate and assemble glass products
- Familiarity with storefront and curtain wall installation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
