What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator position at Rush Copley Medical Center?
This position facilitates the organization of, and the accurate presentation of data, to the Medical Director, for appropriate admissions to the Rush Copley Rehabilitation Center (RCRC) using regulatory, state and federal, standards. The position provides ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, and implementation of a successful patient admission. This position is the gatekeeper to admissions and needs to continually enhance the quality and timeliness of patient admissions, the patient/family experience, and to promote success with the continuity of care, discharge planning, and utilization review. Collaboration with the Perspective Payment System Coordinator ensures that identified outcomes are achieved, variances are evaluated, and actions taken to improve clinical and financial performance. Acute rehabilitation patient care process, UDS knowledge, and knowledge of Quality Indicators is a plus.
$32.58 - $48.86 Hourly
