Position Summary:
Rush Copley Medical Center, in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, invites applications for a hybrid role of General Cardiology and Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
This role will be primarily located at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL, functioning on a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule alongside six Cardiologists. The hybrid General Cardiology and Electrophysiology APP will care for patients with complex medical conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in General Cardiology and Electrophysiology is preferred. Relevant RN experience may be considered.
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse.
- Masters of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
- Current certification by American Nurse Creditionalling Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner.
- Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
- Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
- CPR, ACLS and PALS certification
- Excellent communicator
- Experience treating patients of all ages
- Procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D)
Physician Assistant:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable
- Excellent communicator
- Experience treating patients of all ages
- Procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D)
$53.35 - $80.03 per hour
