What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/RCMG position at RUSH Copley Medical Center?
Position Summary
Responsible for the care and comfort of all patients and their families.Responsible for rooming patients; taking vital signs; performing phlebotomy; assisting with procedures; maintaining appropriate practice logs; informing patients of normal lab results; patient flow and comprehensive documentation to support the care of the patient.
Position Requirements:
- Medical background such as CNA, PCT, EMT or other medical/healthcare background
- Certified in CPR
- Medical practice management and EMR software experience preferred (specifically Epic).
- Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) helpful.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented
- Flexible; able to adapt to change
- Bilingual a plus!
$18.86 - $28.30 Hourly
