Pay Range: $34.89 - $56.78 per hour

Summary: Manages extracorporeal circuit, for patients on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedure.
Other information: Required Job Qualifications:
Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring of the extracorporeal circuit. 2. Ensuring adequate organ and tissue perfusion and oxygenation of the ECMO patient. 3. Troubleshooting and replacing malfunctioning components of the extracorporeal circuit, which may include emergent life threatening situations. 4. Under the direction of a physician is responsible for administration of fluids and/or blood products via the extracorporeal circuit. 5. Testing and maintaining of adequate anti-coagulation. 6. Taking scheduled call shifts.
