Pay Range: $17.63 - $27.77 per hour

Summary:
The Research Assistant will have primary responsibility for assisting the project directors in managing day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including basic benchwork, assist with project reports and correspondence, and assist project team staff with execution of grant activities. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and ICARE values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists in data collection.
2. Assists in tracking financial payments to the facility.
3. Maintains records and grant proposal documentation.
4. Maintains and orders supplies when needed.
5. Maintains forms and electronic data collection devices.
6. Performs data analysis as delegated by PI or core director
7. Writes reports and manuscript texts as delegated by PI or core director
8. Performs wet-lab work as delegated by PI or core director
9. Collects data using appropriate collection devices.
10. Attends staff meetings.
11. Maintains confidentiality and privacy of research data.
12. Completes other activities as delegated by the PI, core director, and project manager.
