Summary: Responsible for providing intermediate level research skills including identification and recruitment of participants; data collection, data entry; literature searches, site recruitment, coordinating quality control procedures and manuals for data collection and management; Exemplifies the RUSH mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with RUSH policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: 70% 1. Perform subject identification and recruitment 2. Obtain consent from potential subjects 3. Collect and manage complex data about contacts related to consent process 4. Accurately performs all data collection, data entry and data analysis to generate reports 5. Assists in development of system to track, retrieve and store data based on criteria of the study 6. Perform other research related duties as requested Advanced Administrative Functions: 30% 7. Coordinate appointments, schedules meetings with data collectors, study participants, study site(s) and other relevant study committees; documents meeting outcomes as needed; 8. Work collaboratively with study team to identify systemic barriers to subject participation and makes recommendations to address as needed 9. Assist faculty researcher's with preparing data for budget justification; funding source reports 10. Conduct library and database search for relevant articles to support findings of study as needed 11. Assist faculty researchers with administration of selected aspects of research related to study
