JOB SUMMARY
-
As part of the Maintenance TEAM the Maintenance 3 position performs scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs across campus to including plumbing, electrical, and air systems. The Maintenance 3 position maintains, repairs and inspects specialized equipment in accordance with code and regulatory requirements. As a vital part of the TEAM, Maintenance 3 assists with construction of projects hospital wide and ensures a safe, effective and clean environment for patients, visitors and staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

If age 21 or older, driving record must meet standards in order to drive RMH vehicle

Knowledge-

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, preventative maintenance and fire systems

Knowledge of applicable building codes related to healthcare preferred

Basic computer knowledge

Education-

High school diploma or equivalent required

Vocational or trade school certification preferred

Experience-

A minimum of 2 years of experience

Authority and Accountability-
Extensive exposure to confidential information or matters

Frequent contact with various persons or groups within and outside of the hospital including employees, department directors, physicians, and outside agency personnel
