The Rush United FC (RUFC) Academy Director will be a full-time director position leading the Academy coaching staff, junior directors and overseeing the development of all U8-U12 boys and girls teams. RUFC operates with a unique club model that allows us to play more games, but travel less. RUFC also does not operate with a board of directors which allows decision making and the staff to work at a far quicker pace while reporting directly to the Director of Operations and club management.
The Academy Director (AD) will lead and assist with our year round programming including winter Futsal programming at our indoor facility and camps and clinics. The club will also assist the coach in getting their next coaching license.
The AD will be on an annual contract with performance reviews conducted every 6 months by the Director of Operations. Incentives and training opportunities will be available during out of season programming and additional financial incentives for player recruitment and creating new programs. Relocation assistance is negotiable on a case by case basis.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to work in the United States. VISA sponsorships are not currently available for this position.
- A minimum of USSF National “C” License is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with higher licensure and experience working with the Academy age groups.
- Candidates must be available to start on or before July 1, 2025.
- The ideal candidate will be interested or planning on taking their next coaching license within 18 months which will be covered by the club. Additional coaching opportunities with Men's UPSL and / or UPSL Women's staff positions are also available with the club.
- The successful candidate will be charismatic, energetic, able to demonstrate technical skills and enjoy working with Academy age players (U8-U10).
- The AD will need to be comfortable with a flexible schedule, willingness to work and travel on weekends for matches and tournaments and have access to their own means of transportation. Travel reimbursement, hotel fees and per diem for weekend tournaments will be provided by the club.
