What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Coaching position at Rush Soccer?
Missouri Rush is seeking a Director of Coaching (DOC) in St. Charles, Missouri. We are looking for a DOC that is organized, motivated, task-oriented, and an excellent communicator. The position is extremely important to the long-term success of player development within our club.
This full-time position requires a soccer background. The DOC will be responsible for coordinating each age group in the playing format he/she is responsible for. This will include sharing the Rush Way as well as evaluating coaching performances and assisting with team related issues. The DOC must be motivated and possess good player and parent management skills.
The individual selected must have the requisite skills and personality to positively affect all players, parents, volunteers and coaches. The DOC must be able to educate, evaluate and communicate the skills and tactics of soccer while upholding the Rush Way. The DOC must possess the desire to excel and strive to make Rush Soccer a great club to be a part of.
Qualifications:
- Minimum coaching license requirement “D”
- 2 years of coaching experience
- Regional level experience is a bonus
- Previous Rush coaching experience is a benefit
- Strong conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
The DOC will report directly to the Technical Director. The DOC must be able to demonstrate the skills and techniques of soccer. He/she must be able to articulate and communicate the tactics. This position requires an outgoing personality with the ability to work with volunteers, players and parents.
Compensation: This is a full-time, salaried position (annual salary is determined by licensing and experience) and includes healthcare benefits and 401K.
Candidates must possess a current and clean driving license and pass a comprehensive background check. Must also be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
