Pay Range : $25.20 - $39.69 per hour

Summary :
This role is responsible for providing training on systems and applications that support the conduct of research at Rush. The occupant of this role with introduce users to research systems and may also orient users on relevant and related Rush policies and procedures. The Research Systems Trainer (RST) will have an in-depth understanding of the applications and systems at use by the Rush research community, and how these applications interface with each other and with other systems. The RST will examine the current operations and procedures and work within the team of Research Education and partners with subject matter experts to document, implement and train on systems-related research workflows, processes, policies, and procedures. This role supports ongoing training needs for the organization that may include, but are not limited to new employee training, follow-up training with existing staff, and the development of additional training to meet role-specific needs. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and / or formal training in Health Care Administration, Teaching
- 2 years’ classroom application or technical training experience with a focus on adult education
- Excellent analytical, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills desired.
- Strong teamwork and customer service focus desired.
- Ability to build rapport with training participants and their leaders.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, relative to project needs.
