Pay Range : $79,081 - $128,710 per hour

The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary :
This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of tax compliance, planning, audits, controls, and accounting compliance for RUSH System for Health (RSH) and its affiliates. The analyst will work with operations, legal, finance, taxing authorities and others to identify issues, implement strategies, and ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance for the system. Exemplifies the RUSH mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare accounting and Exempt Organization tax reporting experience.
- Experience identifying and reporting Unrelated Business Income.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent project management and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Comprehensive knowledge of general accounting systems, payroll processes, and accounts payable systems.
- Demonstrates a desire to continuously improve accounting and tax reporting through proactive professional development efforts.
- Ability to work independently and creatively.
