EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provide counter service to the public about 50% of the time in order to furnish and help them prepare forms as well as take complaints and give directions and other assistance. This includes registrations on behalf of the Department of Transportation.Receive, categorize, prepare, and maintain, in a confidential manner, information relating to official Departmental complaints, reports, arrests, warrants, and traffic accident location.Complete data entry of cases including offenses, names, property, arrests, traffic warnings and citations. This includes validating incidents to make sure the records conform to the standards of the State of Wisconsin.Provide records to insurance companies, attorneys, citizens, and the District Attorney's Office.Calculate and prepare statistics in order to use them in monthly and annual Departmental reports.Update and maintain files for 911 database and geo maps.Has knowledge of other office personnel's basic duties to assist as needed.Has knowledge of and obeys all policies, procedures, rules, regulations, orders or directives pertaining specifically or generally to members and employees of this department.Compile computer generated Incident Based Reporting data in order to provide the State of Wisconsin with accurate statistical offense reporting.Perform other such tasks as assigned by the Chief Deputy or Sheriff.
