As Property Management Accountant, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by performing accounting functions related to our property management division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field required with advanced degree or CPA preferred. 3 to 5 years experience and knowledge of all aspects of accounting and financial management required. Property Management background highly desirable. Thorough knowledge of all relevant Federal, State and local requirements regarding financial records. Ability to effectively communicate ideas, issues, and updates in both written and verbal formats to leadership, internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Organizational skills are crucial. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks and MS Office suite required. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills essential. Ability to multi-task is vital.

As Property Management Accountant, you will help us reach our strategic growth goals by performing accounting functions related to our property management division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements/reporting packages for the property management division.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment.
- Reconcile monthly bank reconciliations to the general ledger.
- Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate and analyze billing and collection activities.
- Oversee the preparation of annual operating budgets.
- Review all customer project invoices prior to submission to the customer/owner to ensure their accuracy.
- Assist management with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
