Company: Russell Feed & Supply is a locally-owned and operated feed store chain in the North Texas area. Russell Feed currently has 10 locations, a distribution center and offices, and a hay distribution center. Our stores offer a wide variety of products, including pet food & supplies, animal health products, horse tack & supplies, livestock feed & supplies, hay & shavings, propane, lawn & garden items, organics, and more.

Position: We are looking to expand our Distribution Center staff at RFI, Russell Feed’s Central Warehouse. Our Warehouse Staff receives truckloads from our vendors,pulls orders, and distributes product to make sure our stores are well-stocked. Customer service is a PRIORITY for our company, and we believe our stores should be served with excellence from our Distribution Center.

Qualifications:

- Must be ethical, honest & hardworking

- Physically capable of staying on your feet all day, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

- Ability to operate a forklift preferred

Responsibilities:

Although this list is nowhere near comprehensive, it provides an idea of the duties and tasks of a member of our Distribution Center.

- Prioritize safety- Safety is our #1 priority at Russell Feed. It is the responsibility of all of us to ensure a safe atmosphere on a daily basis for all people who come in contact with our stores or Distribution Center. Identifying safety risks and bringing them to management’s attention is a must.

- Ensure our stores receive superior customer service

- Always possess a positive attitude

- Work well with Warehouse Manager, stores and other staff

- Inventory control and management—communicating items we are running low on to management

- Maintain a clean, appealing and organized warehouse

Time Commitment: Our Central Warehouse is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. However, there are times when our warehouse staff will need to come in early, stay late and/or work occasional weekends.

Note- our preference is to hire someone looking for full-time work, but if you're looking for part-time work and are available 8am-4pm 3 days weekly we still encourage you to apply.
