Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest relations, making it essential for maintaining the high standards of customer service that our establishment is known for.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist with any additional tasks as needed within the restaurant, including supporting food service operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to help create a welcoming environment for all guests.
