The Opportunity
Russell Insurance (www.insuredwithrussell.com) is an established and growing locally owned independent insurance agency serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout northern Ohio. The agency benefits from a proven referral partner relationship with Russell Real Estate Services (www.russellrealty.com), one of the leading real estate service providers in northern Ohio. Russell Real Estate Services operates nine (9) offices throughout northern Ohio and is currently expanding. New insurance sales opportunities continue to be generated. As a result, Russell Insurance is also looking to expand their team.
The Position (Account Executive) and Key Responsibilities
Russell Insurance is looking to hire an Account Executive with a relevant sales background. The ideal candidate will have Experience in Insurance sales and hold an active property and casualty resident Ohio license. Some small commercial insurance experience is preferred. However, someone with personal insurance experience who has the ability and motivation to focus on small commercial insurance sales will also be given consideration.
The Account Executive position will report to the Insurance Sales Manager. This will be a virtual role with some local travel required to referral partner office locations as designated, as well as to prospect and client sites as necessary. Ideally, we are looking for an individual that resides in Cuyahoga, Medina, Lorain, Erie, Huron, or surrounding counties.
The Account Executive key responsibilities will include:
· Building referral partner relationships with Russell Realty Services realtors, realty service teams, and/or offices as assigned.
· Offering and writing new business insurance for prospects generated through warm referral leads provided by realtors, mortgage brokers, client referrals, and partner listings.
· Providing client management and service to existing insurance clients.
· Working with the Insurance Sales Manager to cross-sell small commercial insurance to existing personal insurance clients.
· Partnering with the Owner, Insurance Sales Manager, and the Commercial team at Russell Realty to leverage referral partners and leads to build and grow a profitable commercial insurance book of business.
· Reporting activity and results to the Insurance Sales Manager on a regular basis.
The Account Executive will be provided with training and support to help them develop into a successful commercial insurance salesperson.
Compensation
The Owner is willing to offer a scalable and competitive compensation program that includes base salary along with an adjusted commission-split (new and renewals) that encourages long-term profitable revenue growth. Owners will also consider additional discretionary bonus opportunities based on hitting revenue and profitability objectives.
