Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Landscape Porter to ensure the daily upkeep of our commercial accounts. This role is responsible for keeping the property clean, aesthetically pleasing, and safe from a landscaping perspective. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and take ownership of maintaining the property’s outdoor appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily policing of grounds – Walk the property to remove litter, debris, and any unsightly elements.

• Flowerbed maintenance – Weed, prune, deadhead, and water plants to ensure healthy, vibrant flowerbeds.

• General landscape upkeep – Assist with minor landscaping tasks such as mulching, edging, and light planting.

• Trash removal – Empty outdoor trash receptacles and maintain designated disposal areas.

• Blowing & debris control – Use a blower to clear sidewalks, walkways, and entrances for a well-maintained appearance.

• Safety & hazard prevention – Identify and report any potential landscape-related hazards, such as overgrown walkways or fallen branches.

• Seasonal tasks – Assist with leaf removal, fertilization, and seasonal plantings.

• Collaboration – Work closely with the property management team and Russell Landscape crew to uphold our landscaping standards.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening preferred.

• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and landscape aesthetics.

• Comfortable operating basic landscaping tools (blowers, pruners, hand tools, etc.).

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, walking, and working outdoors in Florida’s climate.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to property maintenance.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
