What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician, Certified (As Needed/PRN) position at Russell Medical?
Job Summary: Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records.
Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. PRN or as needed in the Russell Pharmacy Hours would vary during department opening Monday-Sunday with shifts from 8am-4:00pm or 10am-7pm Minimum Qualifications:

- EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
- EXPERIENCE: 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current pharmacy technician registration. Eligible for pharmacy technician certification with AL Board of Pharmacy.
