Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and a good work ethic. A background in durable medical equipment is a plus but not required as we will train. This role involves delivering and repairing various medical equipment and providing exceptional service to our clients. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency. Candidate must pass a background check and drug test.

Duties

• Deliver medical equipment and supplies.
• Diagnose medical equipment issues and conduct repairs.
• Cleaning equipment and logging maintenance records.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and storage areas.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and completing necessary paperwork.
• Operate service vehicles for transportation, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain company vehicles and logs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all service calls are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their needs and the services provided.
• Potential on call duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• People sensitive characteristics with a desire to help others
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel
• Strong work ethic
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Physical Demands

Physical demands of this position will require heavy lifting approximately up to 50 pounds. Technicians must be able to bend in order to load, unload, set-up and take down medical equipment and devices delivered to and picked up from client's residences.
