A day in the life…
Interns are provided meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience highlighting what you would do in a similar role following completion of your degree and working at the company on a regular, fulltime basis.
What you will be doing:
- Support the oversight of document management processes, helping to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
- Assist in maintaining documentation that aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the standardization of tracking and reporting systems for key quality and food safety programs
- Visit the Iola, Kansas Russell Stover manufacturing plant at least two days a week, as needed, to support plant projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational processes and ensure compliance.
- Perform other functions related to FSSC compliance as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Science, Engineering, Business, or any other relevant discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Do you stand above the rest?

- Knowledge of food science and manufacturing
- Experience with databases and data management systems
- Familiarity with various software platforms
- Confident Problem Solver / Solution-driven individual
- Able to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment
