Accountant

Russell Tobin Associates is currently seeking a Lease Accountant. This is a 12 months contract with potential for extension/conversion for successful contractors!

Position: Lease Accountant

Location: Cupertino, CA 95014 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months, with possible extension

Pay rate: $58.00 - 60.00/hr on w2

JOB SUMMARY:

Key job responsibilities (Duties):

• The Lease Abstractor candidate will support the Lease Accounting and Lease Payment teams.
• Ensure data integrity such that lease documents are interpreted, abstracted and entered into the system of record accurately.
• Ongoing verification and abstraction of lease information and appropriate updating of the database, as needed.
• This role reports to the Finance Manager of the Real Estate and Development Lease Accounting team (RE&D Finance).

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to review, interpret and abstract legal real estate documents.
• Proven track record of successfully completing challenging projects and managing multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills required.
• Proven financial, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accounting background; Lease Accounting background a plus
• Excel skills

Education / Experience:

• BA or BS in accounting, Finance or equivalent.
