Job Highlights
- Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Mon-Thurs, 10-hour shifts)
- Travel: Up to 40% domestic and international
- On-Call: Occasional weekends (once a month)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) on aircraft engines.
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble engine components.
- Troubleshoot and identify defects using engine data materials (AMM, EMM, IPC, etc.).
- Interpret and apply FAA directives, service bulletins, and technical variances.
- Ensure compliance with FAA safety standards and maintain inspection approvals.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma with 3 years of aircraft MRO experience or associate’s degree with 2 years of experience.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is mandatory.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for FAA compliance).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a required eye exam.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with gas turbine engines.
- Familiarity with FAR145 repair stations and engine/aircraft logbooks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
