Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance/Janitor Worker to work at of our top healthcare clients at their Brownsville, TX location. This position is vital in helping us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for a senior center. The role requires a proactive and reliable team member to assist in a variety of building maintenance tasks and support for activities at the center.
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
Location: Brownsville, TX
Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Position: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Building Maintenance: Clean and maintain cardio and weight machines, as well as equipment used for activities.
- Facility Cleanliness: Pick up litter around the facility, empty trash cans, and remove garbage from inside the building. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean carpets on a regular basis.
- General Cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, TVs, furniture, and other surfaces, including dusting and polishing.
- Restroom and Common Areas: Ensure all restrooms, break room, dining area, storage spaces, coffee center, and water fountains are clean and properly stocked.
- Supply Maintenance: Replace soap, antibacterial products, and paper goods in dispensers as needed.
- Event Support: Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment and furniture for classes, events, and activities.
- Safety and Oversight: Utilize safety measures to maintain a safe environment and assist with overall building safety.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks, including lifting, sweeping, and mopping.
- A positive, service-oriented attitude and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all participants.
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
