Communications Coordinator – Global Sports & Retail Leader
Location : Onsite in / Beaverton, OR
Schedule : Monday - Friday | 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Rate : $30-38 / hour
Duration : 1 year - Contract

We’re looking for a Communications Coordinator to drive internal communications, event planning, and engagement initiatives for a major digital transformation team. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys storytelling, and can collaborate with high-level stakeholders.
What You’ll Do :
Plan & manage employee engagement events, including monthly and quarterly team meetings.
Support onboarding and team enablement initiatives.
Design and maintain a knowledge portal (SharePoint expertise required).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support events and communications.
Manage program distribution lists and facilitate internal communications.
Draft key messages, presentations, and content for newsletters and engagement campaigns.
Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including AV setup, invitations, and hospitality.
What We’re Looking For :
- 4 years of experience in communications, event management, HR, or marketing.
- Strong writing, strategic planning, and project management skills.
- Experience with SharePoint and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Creative problem solver with a high tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience planning both virtual and in-person events for diverse audiences.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Campaign Monitor, or video editing software is a plus.
