Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing activities, including shampooing, conditioning, hair styling, and professional services such as hair color and texture treatments.
- Execute hair Color applications with precision.
- Contribute to the improvement and development of testing methods for evaluating hair. Support the development of new product launches and reformulations.
- Complete all testing profiles, evaluations, and service records accurately and in line with good documentation practices.
- Monitor and address panellist issues such as product reactions and compliance. Escalate issues to the Salon Manager/Study Investigator as needed.
- Maintain a clean work area and overall salon cleanliness according to Minnesota Cosmetology State Board Rules and Guidelines.
- Work with global hair Color artists to help create and determine usage guidelines and develop educational techniques.
- Maintain a professional atmosphere and respond to management requests as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience within cosmetology performing professional hair services.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing services.
- Proficient in hair Color formulation; experience with Aveda Hair Color is a plus.
- Basic understanding of hair Color theory and ability to assess natural starting levels and tones.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Proficient with Word and Excel.
- Cosmetologist Salon Manager License is a plus.
