About the Role:
This Indirect Sourcing Specialist position plays a critical part in maintaining the flow of essential materials while ensuring supplier quality, cost control, and timely delivery to support ongoing production and innovation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing MRO spend and supporting centralized sourcing initiatives.
- Coordinating cost-reduction initiatives and vendor performance improvements.
- Executing RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and conducting pricing/cost analysis.
- Tracking supplier capabilities and ensuring timely delivery to production and maintenance teams.
- Leading supplier negotiations and driving resolution for performance issues.
- Oversight of purchase requisitions and purchase order submissions via EAM.
- Identification of new technologies and suppliers that bring innovation and value.
- Support for special projects and other duties as assigned.
Necessary Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of materials planning or purchasing experience.
- Experience in MRO/Indirect Sourcing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong negotiation, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of MRP systems.
