Instructional Designer II

What are we looking for in our Instructional Designer II?

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an Instructional Designer II to work for our client in Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global e-commerce company. The Learning Experience Designer role will be responsible for building and program managing a foundational learning program that prepares individuals for technical careers for the global Data Center Community.

Pay: $46-$50/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Location: Seattle, WA

Key job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy training programs as part of a blended learning strategy
• Partner with cross-functional teams and educational programs to build out development experiences with a global mindset
• Solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
• Work with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and create engaging end user training
• Manage multiple curricula development projects simultaneously
• Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed
• Create reliable and valid learner evaluation tools to gauge knowledge and skill transfer
• Drive use of evaluation and performance data to improve learning content
• Work with global stakeholders to program manage technical training program
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional technology, educational technology, organizational development or 3 years of relevant experience in instructional design
• 3 Years developing and executing strategies, development and delivery of creative and innovative training solutions
• 3 years of experience developing training in a variety of delivery modalities
• Experience building and program managing learning and development projects in an academic environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a consultant in a corporate or start up environment.
• Experience working with remote teams and an international audience
• Obsessed about the customer experience, high standards, and continually inspire others to do better for the customer
• Experience gathering, building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics to multiple organizational levels
• Experience creating training for high tech industry
