The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring an IT Support Technician for a world-class client in Summit, NJ 07901
Required Skills
-Candidates should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, including internships.
-Basic understanding of computers, networking, and troubleshooting.
-Familiarity with Windows operating systems is essential; experience with Macs is not relevant.
-Experience with ticket management systems like ServiceNow or Remitly is a plus but not mandatory.
-Most of the work will occur in lab environments requiring personal protective equipment (PPE), such as lab coats and goggles.
Additional Details:
- 12 months of contract with the potential for an extension
-Pay: $22 to $24/ hr
Schedule:
- 24/7 environment.
- Shits Monday-Sunday. The next few candidates will be backfilled for the night shift, but will be 50/50 day & night. Training will be on day shift, but the expectation after that will be availability on nights and weekends.
- Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts. 5 days/week – 2 days 9-5, 7-5, or 8pm to 6am is the typical night shift.
- Expect 2-3 shifts of overnight & 1 weekend. 1 or 2 days of the day shift. Plan to give them a 50/50 schedule so they don’t burn out…
- Try to have the schedule 2 weeks in advance.
- Weekends: Split off between the team, at least a minimum of 1 weekend day every week.
