Legal Compliance Associate
Location: New York, NY | Employees are expected to be in the office three days a week (usually Monday–Wednesday but there are occasions this shifts to Tuesday-Thursday)
Salary Range: $110,000 125,000 10% bonus (Range is dependent on experience OT is also available

They’re looking to add a Legal & Compliance Associate to their collaborative Legal team. Key Responsibilities
Primary Focus:
- Prepare and file Section 16 forms under the Exchange Act and manage stock ownership tracking for directors and officers
- Support insider trading compliance, including managing pre-clearance and blackout windows
- Collaborate on the transition to EDGAR Next and work closely with third-party equity plan administrators
- Assist in preparing proxy statements via Workiva, including sections related to beneficial ownership
- Ensure ongoing securities law compliance and support related research initiatives
Additional Support:
- Help maintain legal filing systems (electronic and physical), including contract management and policy tracking
- Provide administrative and legal support on capital markets transactions and public company filings (e.g., closing checklists, signature tracking, diligence material prep)
- Conduct legal research under attorney supervision
- Pitch in with broader legal department projects and governance support as needed
Who We’re Looking For:
