Job Title: Marketing Strategy & Operations Lead
Location: Onsite – Menlo Park, CA
Pay: $80 - $100/hour
Duration: 12-month contract (possibility of extension)
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategically-minded and operationally excellent Marketing Strategy & Operations Lead to join a high-impact team that supports a fast-growing, global marketing organization. This person will drive planning cycles, guide cross-functional workstreams, support budget decisions, and develop communications to keep leadership aligned and informed.
This role requires someone with a strong background in SaaS enterprise businesses, particularly those that operate on a global scale. You’ll need to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous environments and collaborate with teams across multiple regions and functions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead quarterly and annual marketing planning processes across departments
- Connect cross-functional teams including brand, demand generation, product marketing, and communications
- Write and present clear, concise communications including strategic briefs, executive updates, and internal memos
- Own complex, cross-functional projects from concept to execution
- Track budgets, monitor spend, and recommend investments aligned with evolving priorities
- Coordinate with regional marketing teams, maintaining alignment across global markets
- Build strategic frameworks to support both current needs and future growth
Key Projects Include
- Overseeing enterprise operations and driving business growth
- Leading client acquisition strategy and execution
- Supporting a new product launch with dedicated ops and planning support
- Collaborating with senior leaders to align marketing and business objectives
- Drafting newsletters and strategy documents
- Reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 8 years in marketing, operations, or strategy roles
- Experience working within SaaS enterprise businesses
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to and working with senior executives
- Track record of successful project management in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Budget management and business planning expertise
Preferred Experience:
- Experience leading global marketing operations
- Background in big tech or similarly complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong strategic thinking paired with executional discipline
