Job title : Brand Merchandising

Summary :
This role at an athletic footwear and apparel corporation requires a deep understanding of the consumer and marketplace landscape, with a focus on driving product offerings across merchandising dimensions. The candidate will collaborate across various teams to create consumer-centric assortment plans, contributing insights for future season plans. The position also involves balancing multiple seasons and ensuring the successful adoption of innovative products.
Responsibilities :
Build consumer-centric assortment plans by blending fact-based and intuitive inputs and understanding the entire marketplace.
Participate in seasonal reviews and assortment building in partnership with marketplace account-focused merchants.
Balance multiple seasons, contributing to future season plans and adoption by supporting Gender Merchandising Leadership and upstream partnerships within Global Merchandising.
Manage assortment planning areas during the seasonal process and gather consumer trends and marketplace insights from in-market seasons.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or higher or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
2 years of experience in Footwear, Apparel, Accessories, or relevant consumer product merchandising, product creation, and / or retail in a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.
Strong command of common retail and / or digital metrics such as sell-through, margin, full price realization, weeks of supply, etc.
Proven ability to translate consumer, sales, trend, and marketplace insights into in-season and long-term breakthrough strategies.
