Job description:
Planner/Scheduler
A Planner Scheduler performs a wide variety of expediting duties in support of company ’s customer support activities.
Job Duties:
● Ensure a timely flow of raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, or finished goods from external and/or internal suppliers. Locates and expedites critical materials
● Review and monitor open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and stock inventory; maintain, update, and input material control data system or records and verifies reports for accuracy; adjusts material counts when discrepancies are noted
● Represent the department in shipment status meetings and follows-up to ensure commitments are met
● Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle
● Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules
● Provide input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with Marketing, Sales, Production and Engineering managers
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma (or equivalent)
● Two years’ experience working in Supply Chain, Warehouse Logistics, Manufacturing, or Spares Operations
● Ability to work in a fast pace changing work environment in production and scheduling in support of both internal and external customers
● Demonstrate a high level of expertise in problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
● Onsite Flex.
● Must be willing to work Dayshift Sundays-Thursdays or Tuesdays-Saturdays
