Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical building system design, construction management, and commissioning activities.
This role requires hands-on experience with industrial or commercial building projects, as well as extensive knowledge of safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical building systems that meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with construction contractors, plant facilities teams, and manufacturing shops to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Manage project schedules, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of electrical design software, tools, and techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, integrity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Must Have)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design (10 years preferred)
- 2 years of experience in construction management (Industrial/Commercial buildings required)
- Strong understanding of design criteria development for electrical systems
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environments (engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA requirements, building codes, and industry standards (IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, etc.)
- Strong organizational, communication, and schedule management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
