Salary Range: $113,179 - $183,916 Annually

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Lead to mentor and guide a technical team in the design, development, and qualification of airworthy/certified electronic engine controllers and monitoring systems. This role requires strong leadership in electronics design, ensuring all electronic products meet program requirements while fostering innovation and high-quality output. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technology and be part of a team shaping the next generation of Aero Engine Control Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in hardware circuit design, development, and validation processes.
- Own the electronics requirements, circuit design, analysis, reviews, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and verification and validation testing.
- Engage with technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to enable rapid decision-making.
- Define electronics test plans, test methods, and oversee design reviews and approvals.
- Ensure quality control through internal gate reviews and adherence to development processes.
- Identify and manage project risks (technical, cost, supply chain, and schedule) according to the risk management plan.
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience in electronics design, OR
- Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience in electronics design, OR
- PhD in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in circuit design.
- Experience in technical leadership, people management, and project management.
- Strong background in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience or understanding of Safety-Critical Control Systems (DAL A-C), High Integrity Control Solutions, and familiarity with RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards.
- Hands-on experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), change management, and risk management processes.
Salary : $110,000 - $180,000
