Position Overview:
The Treasury and Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing critical thought-leadership in data and analytics on Interest Rate Risk (IRR), Liquidity Risk, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Valuation, and Financial Forecasting. Utilizing measures such as Net Interest Income (NII), Earnings at Risk (EAR), Economic Value of Equity (EVE), and other Key Risk Indicators, the candidate will help maintain and automate financial analytical reports and dashboards with a deep understanding of data and databases. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial modeling, Asset Liability Management (ALM), and treasury experience.
Key Objectives:
- Lead efforts to develop complex financial models for Asset Liability Management (ALM) in Empyrean, Excel, and SQL, acting as the primary source for the TMCC/TFSB/Other AOR SFC ALM programs.
- Automate financial processes and reporting utilizing Excel, VBA, Tableau, Power BI, and other tools like Snowflake, .Net, and C#.
- Provide analytical support for management forums, particularly the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO), by conducting detailed market and financial analysis to inform strategy, proposals, and transactions.
- Advise finance subsidiaries on treasury management activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and support funding programs and forecasts.
- Conduct balance sheet analysis and build ALM strategies to manage liquidity, interest rate risk, and financial forecasting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and grow complex ALM models and reports in Excel, SQL, and Empyrean.
- Automate reporting and process workflows using Excel, VBA, Tableau, Power BI, and other technologies.
- Provide advisory support on treasury management activities and review funding forecasts.
- Analyze market data and financial metrics to support ALCO decisions.
- Conduct thorough financial analyses, including balance sheet and economic impact evaluations, to support ALM strategy development.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation using Tableau.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with financial instruments and data management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ALM Tools such as Empyrean, Bancware, or QRM.
- Familiarity with SmartView/Essbase.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree is not mandatory, but candidates should have a strong background in treasury, finance, or related fields.
