Job Description
The Sales Strategic Planning & Operations group is seeking an experienced business leader to drive organizational planning, strategic initiatives, and overall operational excellence for Business Messaging sales and partnerships at Meta. Business Messaging aims to be the preferred way businesses communicate with their customers. This role will collaborate closely with the leadership team of Business Messaging, as well as cross-functional teams including sales, partnerships, marketing, finance, and HR.
The primary objective is to enable revenue growth through data-driven business strategies and operational efficiency. This role requires a flexible skillset to manage a wide range of responsibilities, including resource planning, goal-setting, business analysis, sales pipeline reporting, internal communications, data deep dives, project leadership, and contributing to team culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about Meta’s platforms—especially WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram Direct—and has a proven track record of proactive operational leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and improve planning processes, including goal-setting, project prioritization, and headcount planning.
- Develop and present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Partner closely with Sales and Partnerships leaders and internal stakeholders to drive key business initiatives and programs.
- Connect the dots across teams to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support business recommendations.
- Lead business reviews for the Business Messaging leadership team, including monthly / quarterly reviews and sales pipeline reporting.
- Present findings to an executive audience, ensuring clear and compelling communication.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive alignment on key initiatives.
- Contribute to a strong organizational culture and values.
