Russell Tobin is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator/Sourcer with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry. This is a contract to hire opportunity!
The Senior Recruiter will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent across multiple functional areas within the organization. The role will collaborate closely with hiring managers and the HR Manager to understand hiring needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and execute end-to-end recruitment processes, contributing to building a high-performing workforce that aligns with our company's values and goals. This position will be based on-site in Foster City, CA.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent requirements and develop comprehensive job descriptions and specifications.
- Post job descriptions across multiple platforms to attract top talent
- Proactively source and attract highly qualified candidates using various channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
- Collaborate with and manage recruiting vendors and external partners to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring seamless communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Oversee the candidate experience, providing timely updates and fostering a positive impression of the company.
- Facilitate offer negotiation and closing, including preparing and extending offer letters.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Lead university recruiting efforts, including participation in career fairs and building relationships with academic institutions.
- Create and maintain various recruitment tracking and reports.
- Implement and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for better workflow and candidate management.
- Enhance employer branding through strategic updates to the careers page and managing the company’s LinkedIn presence.
Education, Experience and Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- Experience with biotech or pharma recruiting
- Startup experience strongly preferred

- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top-tier talent across various functional areas.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interviewing methodologies, and assessment tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, candidates, and team members.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR tools.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in candidate evaluation and documentation.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to build a strong relationships with peers and cross-functional partners
Salary : $40 - $55
