What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Russell Tree Experts Ltd.?

Russell Tree Experts is searching for a Mechanic who will join our team of dedicated mechanics, ready to learn, and ready to help maintain our extensive on-road and off-road fleet.
Daily Job Activities:
- Servicing small, medium, and large trucks – including changing oil, greasing points etc.
- Servicing off-road vehicles and other items including loaders, trailers, forwarders and more.
- Changing tires, cleaning the shop area, washing trucks and/or equipment
- Desire to learn welding and fabrication (if needed) to assist with light fabrication projects in shop.
- Field-based vehicle repairs with senior mechanic.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional weekends or evenings
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required; Auto or Diesel Maintenance degree or certificate preferred.
1-3 years Auto, diesel, or heavy equipment maintenance experience required
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to perform physical requirements of the position including frequent bending, moving, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
