Summary
We are seeking a Charge Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team at Java Russellville Hospital. In this pivotal role, you will oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of medical attention. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining our commitment to quality healthcare in rural settings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Administer tube feeding and manage patients' nutritional needs as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Provide urgent care services and respond to emergency situations promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive case management plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management strategies.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
- Proven experience in a charge nurse or leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of triage protocols and urgent care procedures.
- Experience with case management and outpatient services is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
