Russellville School District Career Coach
Under the supervision of the Russellville School District (RSD), the Career Coach report will report directly to the K-12 CTE and Innovation Specialist and will provide education, training, and career coaching serving as a resource for the creation and implementation of career plans and career education for RSD students. The Career Coach will meet regularly with prinicpals, supervisors, counselors, and teachers to coordinate instruction and manage components of student success and career planning. Evaluation of the RSD Career Coach will be the responsibility of the K-12 CTE and Innovation Specialist.
Contract: 210 days based on teacher salary schedule.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Works in collaboration with RSD counselors, school personnel, post-secondary advising, Russellville Chamber of Commerce, and other career advising entities to provide career coaching that supports student career pathways and the River Valley workforce and economic development.
Assists in the systemic development and implementation of Student Success Plans (SSPs).
Engages and works alongside the Russellville Chamber and Industry providing educational and training connections for students, including work-based learning opportunities.
Provides informational career exploration opportunities relative to the River Valley region and state stakeholders.
Supports working alongside academic advising/career counseling at the secondary and post-secondary level with students and other stakeholders, including parents.
Maintains an accurate and adequate database of educational and workforce transitions, working in collaboration with the Russellville Chamber of Commerce..
Monitors student progressions, related to the individualized Student Success Plan.
Provides education/training sessions in consultation with secondary, post-secondary, and other training partners.
Maintains a line of communication between all stakeholders in service to education, industry, and career development.
Maintains quality partnerships and ongoing collaboration between all stakeholders in service to education and industry.
Provides transition assistance from school to school/training or school to work or school to military.
Facilitates and maintains quality partnerships between all stakeholders in service to education and workforce and economic development.
Provides transition assistance from school to work, school to school, school to military.
Prioritizes, plans, implements, and tracks budgetary items.
Submits all paperwork necessary to comply with policies and procedures.
Monitors, analyzes, and communicates metrics related to the project in service to data-informed decision making and continuous improvement

Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, be able to do data entry for long periods of time, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Must be available to travel frequently as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, human services, workforce development, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Possess a current Arkansas teaching license
Trained in career coaching/facilitation or a willingness to receive training
Preferred Qualifications:
