Position Summary :
The Facility (or Store) Manager is responsible in assisting other staff with their tasks and assuring that they are performing their job well. The Facility Manager is also responsible for all essential functions of the facility including customer relations, managing store associates and divisions, store investigations, overall flow, and acting as the authority figure in the case of a dispute or emergency. He / She also oversees the shipping of goods, merchandising displays, and assisting customers. The Facility Manager will know the company’s retail, human resources, and safety practices.
Responsibilities / Duties :
- Ensure that individual divisions are functioning at company standard
- Directly oversee staff and all divisions within the facility and help them reach internal goals
- Working with Supervisors to train new staff and retain current staff
- Assist in delegating daily, weekly, monthly scheduling and workload among staff
- Develop a rapport with manufacture representatives
- Maintain current customer relationships and develop new customers
- Manage visual standards / housekpeeing within store and specific divisions
- The hiring, terminating, scheduling and reviewing of staff
- Responsible for the financial health of the store, including but not limited ot : overtime, profit margins, inventory cycle management, internal uses, etc.
- Training and mentoring staff
- Setting sales and Corporate goals with department directors
- Other tasks as defined by executive management
