Job Description:
Russo New York Pizzeria is seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Catering Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and growing our outside catering sales by building strong relationships with local businesses, schools, hospitals, and community organizations. Your primary goal will be to promote our catering services, conduct food tastings, and establish Russo New York Pizzeria as the go-to catering choice in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development:Identify and pursue new catering opportunities through cold calling and visiting local businesses, schools, hospitals, and churches.
- Relationship Building:Foster and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their catering needs and preferences.
- Food Tastings:Organize and conduct food tastings for prospective clients to showcase our menu offerings and quality.
- Market Research:Stay informed about local market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to effectively position our catering services.
- Collaboration:Work closely with the kitchen and catering team to ensure seamless coordination of catering orders and events.
- Reporting:Track sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status, providing regular updates to management.
- Promotional Activities:Participate in community events and networking opportunities to promote Russo New York Pizzeria’s catering services.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in food service or catering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Knowledge of catering best practices and food safety standards is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
