Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, such as a restaurant or hotel setting.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
- Support banquet services by ensuring that all necessary items are clean and ready for events.
- Help with bussing tables to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
