Rust-Oleum Corporation is a worldwide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. We offer a wide range of products including decorative fashion paints, durable industrial roof repair coatings and, of course, our famous rust-fighting formula that started it all.
JOB PURPOSE:
Primary responsibility is to ensure a positive and seamless customer journey for our MTO (Made-To-Order) orders produced out of our Brooklyn Park, MN facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aiding in the development and implementation of customer experience strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Receiving/acknowledging orders in the system.
- Verifying raw material requirements, ensuring materials are ordered and delivered on time.
- Working cross functionally with purchasing, production, logistics, sales & product management departments to ensure production deadlines are being met.
- Regular and thorough communication of status updates with internal and external customers
- Reporting potential delays or roadblocks promptly to all key stakeholders
- Monitoring customer satisfaction, identify trends, and drive improvements in the customer experience.
- Resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paint Industry experience preferred
- Excellent, professional communication skills (written and verbal) as they will be communicating with Rust-Oleum employees at all levels (sales reps, department managers, directors, and even likely VP's) as well as external customers
- Ability to keep focused and juggle multiple orders at all different stages of the process at once
- Sense of urgency and drive to gather information instead of waiting for it to come to them
- SAP experience preferred, not required (about 25% of the work will be done in SAP)
- Ability to maintain calm under pressure and work with ease in a sometimes fast paced environment
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000, bonus eligible
