About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paint Production Specialist to join our team. As a Paint Production Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by setting up, operating, or tending machines to mix or blend materials.
The successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing/chemical processing environment and possess good written and verbal communication skills. Prior paint manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards.
- Determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality through visual inspections or machinery use.
- Weigh or measure chemicals, coatings, or paints before adding them to machines.
- Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays and prepare them by mixing substances according to formulas.
- Set up and operate machines to paint or coat products with various materials.
- Adjust conveyor speeds, machine temperature, air pressure, and circulation as needed.
- Start and stop machine operations using levers or buttons.
- Record operational data on specified forms.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/chemical processing environment.
- Prior paint manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with other peer groups.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
